Fire Chief Brian Long and Batt Chief Jeremy Burke were on scene to assist Telford Fire Co and their Chief Ray Fegley with working fire in a 3 story condo complex. Chief Long and BC Burke were in the area to meet with EMS Chief Brian Pasquale in Souderton when the call came in. Upon arrival behind the first in Engine, The second floor and third floor were bellowing heavy fire and smoke. Chief Long met up with Chief Fegley who was in command and was immediately dispatched to the apartments on the first and second floor to evacuate the residents. BC Burke was asked to drag the 5" hose up to the 1st Engine and make the supply connection and get water flowing. From here, Long and Burke were employed into the operation directly. Chief Long was assigned to manage Operations. BC Burke was sent in with one of the initial attack lines to assist the crew in opening up the interior walls on the AD corner of the 3rd floor loft.

Smoke conditions inside were light as most of the fire was exterior and within the walls. Crews from Souderton Fire Co, Harleysville Fire Co arrived and were put into service venting and attacking the fire from the 2nd floor and the exterior. EMS units from Souderton and VMSC were on scene proving medical care and a relief station for the operation. Brian Pasquale, Chief 324- Medic 339, was on scene to provide mouth to mouth resuscitation for Pug dog rescued from the fire. After reviving the dog, Pasquale was thanked and kissed by the dog.

Units: Telford Fire Company, Telford police, Souderton Community Ambulance, Grand View Ambulance, North Penn Goodwill, Perseverance Fire Co. of Souderton and firefighters from Harleysville, Tylersport, Towamencin, Sellersville and Silverdale companies helped fight the fire.
