| It was with great sadness that Ladder 77 and Mount Penn Ladder 1 made the arch way for a final farewell to Limerick Fire/Rescue and Perkiomen Twp Fire Co firefighter Shaun D. McKenrick who passed away Thursday evening, July 29, 2010, in the Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester following injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident on June 17, 2010, in Charlestown Township.
Born in Norristown, he was a 2002 graduate of the Spring-Ford High School. In 2000, Shaun became a junior firefighter with Limerick Fire Company and he was also a member at Perkiomen Twp. Fire Co.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the "Shaun D. McKenrick Benefit Fund" C/O Limerick Fire Company, 390 West Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA 19468.
