This morning at 11:24, 324-1 & 324-12 responded to a shooting incident in Trappe Borough. Medic 324 requested a direct fly which dispatched Station 77 and Engine 34.

Deputy 77 requested the landing zone (LZ) for the helicopter, (PennStar 4), be located at Trappe Fire Company.

324-1 and 324-12 transported a critical patient to the LZ. Penn Star 4 landed and transported the patient to Penn Presby Hospital. Fire crews assisted EMS and PennStar with patient loading.

The shooting investigation is being handled by the PA State Police.

All units were made available at 12:22. Our thoughts and prayers are with the patient and their family.
