Station 98 Royersford Fire Department and Chester 63 Liberty Fire Co., Spring City were dispatched to a dwelling fire at 679 South 6th Ave in Upper Providence Twp at 8:44 am. CH 98 arrived and confirmed a 2 story twin home with flames and smoke coming from the 2nd floor. CH 98 requested the working fire dispatch which bought Engine 77, Ladder 54 Limerick Fire Company, Squad 51 Linfield Fire Company No. 1, Rescue 86 as the fast team Skippack Fire Company and ambulances from MICU 83 & 324. Engine 77 arrived and established a 2nd water supply while Ladder 77 also responded and assisted with overhaul.
