Trappe Fire Company No.1, Collegeville Fire Company​, Township of Upper Providence Department of Fire & Emergency Services​, and Black Rock Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a vehicle accident earlier this afternoon on S. Trappe Rd. Initial reports indicated one occupant was trapped in their vehicle. Fire department units arrived to find an occupant in each vehicle trapped (2) and needing EMS care. While EMS rendered aid, the fire department cut and removed the roof from one vehicle, and cut and removed the driver's door from the second vehicle.

Both occupants were transported to trauma centers. Our thoughts are with the injured, and wish them a speedy and full recovery.
