Stations 34, 77 and 99 were dispatched to the 100 block of Mennonite Road for a report of a heater on fire in the basement. Chief 34 arrived with confirmed smoke inside the dwelling. This added E66, Medic 324 and UPT Fire Marshals.

L77 responded with a crew of 5 and arrived to place ground ladders on all sides, and the main ladder was placed to the roof. Interior crews reported everything under control. Crews used fans to clear smoke from all levels of the home. Crews remained on location for about an hour ventilating.

Three people were checked by Trappe EMS while on location.
