Trappe Fire Company is a 100% VOLUNTEER fire company providing fire, rescue, and emergency services to the residents, businesses, and visitors of Trappe Borough and a large portion of Upper Providence Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  Trappe Fire Company covers approximately 6.33 square miles with a Ladder, Engine, and TAC (Field) unit.  Specific fire apparatus responding to an emergency may range from a single piece of apparatus to many depending upon the nature and location of the emergency.  

The Company also provides mutual aid to Collegeville Borough, Perkiomen Township, Skippack Township, Limerick Township and other communities in the Perkiomen Valley.

Trappe Fire Co Responds to 3 Alarm Fire in Royersford Borough

Trappe Fire Company, March 20

Station 98, Chester Engine 63, Squad 51, and Engine 68 were dispatched to a dwelling fire near the intersection of 2nd Ave and Washington Street, Royersford Borough at 1743 hours.

Royersford Police was on scene and reported the fire and found smoke and fire in the middle of a 6 unit row home.

Chief 98 arrived on scene and assumed command, requesting a 2nd alarm at 1756 hours.

Trappe Fire Company , March 04

Station 34 , Ladder 68-2, Engine 66, and Tower 53 were dispatched to a Building Fire at Pep Boys - Auto Zone located on East Main Street in Collegeville Borough at 1031 hours.

Police arrived on scene with a fire on the roof. The confirmed fire procedure brought Engine 68, Engine 52 , Ladder 51, and 86 as the RIT.

TFC Executive Board, Fire Officers and Fire Police Take Oath of Office for 2024

Trappe Fire Company, January 12

The 2024 Executive Board, Fire Officers and Fire Police of Trappe Fire Company were given the Oath of Office recently by Magisterial District Judge Cathleen Kelly Rebar. Following the ceremony and Company business meeting, Deputy Chief John Bolger was surprised with a special Happy Birthday Cake. The audience cheered!

Trappe Fire Company , January 07

Engine 68-2 was dispatched with Limerick Fire Department and Royersford Fire Department for a house fire located on Long Meadow Drive, Limerick Township at 1649 hours.

Deputy 51 arrived on scene with a working chimney fire.

Engine 68-2 responded with a crew of 6 and arrived on scene as the 2nd due Engine supplying Engine 98.

House Fire on Christmas Day in Lower Providence Twp.

Trappe Fire Company, December 25

Ladder 68-2 was dispatched to assist Lower Providence Fire Department on a house fire on the 700 block of Barrington Road, Lower Providence Township around 1600 hours.

BC 53 arrived on scene to a working fire and requested additional units to respond.

Trappe Fire Company , December 19

Trappe Fire Company has been busy this week responding to multiple emergency calls. Eight total in the last five days to be exact.

On 12/19 at 2046 hours Engine 68-2 and fire police were dispatched to a vehicle into a pole near the intersection of West 3rd Ave and Bronson Circle.

Engine 68-2 and Tac 68-2 responded and assisted with vehicle stabilization, traffic control, and fluid control.

Engine 68-2 Responds with Tanker Task Force for Hazmat Incident on the PA Turnpike

Trappe Fire Company, October 21

Engine 68-2 was dispatched along with the Tanker Task Force to assist with a flammable liquid tanker truck fire on the North East Extension around mile marker 26.2

Engine 68-2 with a crew of four responded and was directed to Berks Road to assist with setting up portable ponds for water supply.
