2009 Year End Report - Another Record Breaking Year of Calls for Service

Trappe Fire Co. volunteers responded to 296 calls for emergency service in 2009. This was up 30 calls from last year, and is the MOST fire calls we have ever had !
Of the 296 calls, 108 of them were in Trappe Borough and 76 were in the Trappe section of Upper Providence Twp.
The rest of the calls were mutual aid given to other fire departments. The top three fire departments assisted were; Limerick Twp. with 26 calls, Perkiomen Twp. with 15 calls and Collegeville Borough with 17 calls.
The volunteer members of Trappe Fire Co. wish everyone a fire safe and healthy "Happy New Year" in 2010.
We also remind local residents that our annual Fund Drive is still in progress and your donations are needed to help us respond to these calls. Anyone interested in joining the Fire Company is encouraged to fill out an application on line.
