Friday 1-29-2010....4 Calls in 1 Day....2 Working Fires

Station had a very busy 24 hours on Friday, it started with two fire alarms and ended with two working fires in Limerick Twp.
E77 was dispatched to a confirmed barn fire at 228 Limerick Center Rd in the Linfield section of Limerick twp at 1919 hours. E77 arrived and took the hydrant after E54 had dropped 1700 feet of 5" hose. E77 pumped for over 2 hours during the barn fire. E77 crews assisted at the scene.
Just as E77 was cleaning up from the the barn fire a house fire was reported at 161 Bayberry Dr. Cover units were dispatched to cover and so was L77. E77 cleared the barn fire and arrived at a working house fire and crews did interior work there for another 2 hours.
Station 77 was in service for over 4 hours today, just in Limerikc Twp. 77 Fire Police also assisted at both calls along with several 324 and EMS units.
