At 2:10 pm EST on Saturday, February 22, 2020, Trappe Fire Company's Ladder 77 was requested to respond with Station 34 (Collegeville Fire Company No. 1) and Quint 53 from the Lower Providence Fire Department to an odor of smoke coming from the 2nd floor of an occupied residence. Upon arrival, firefighters from Quint 53 and Station 34 began to investigate the cause of the odor.

Crews checked the entire home and found no cause for the odor. Units were released and returned to service.
