Tac 77 and Lieutenant 77 responded to a tree into a house on 158 Royer Drive in Trappe Borough . Crews found a tree into the roof with damage causing water to come in to the second floor. Tac 77's crew removed the tree and placed tarps on the roof to prevent any more water from coming into the residence.

Other emergency calls were being sent to Deputy 77 while crews were out. Station 77 received power lines on fire at 371 East 7th Ave, a tree and pole on fire at 224 West 7th Ave, and a tree on fire at the intersection of West Main Street and Center Ave.

Deputy 77 also received multiple calls for trees down, power lines on fire, and traffic control needed in Trappe section of Upper Providence Township.

Engine 77 handled a report of power lines arcing at the intersection of Kline Road and Linfield Trappe Road while Tac 77 assisted Upper Providence road crew with removing a tree at 914 South Lewis Road.

While clearing these calls, Tac 77 and Engine 77 were alerted to a tree into a house at 804 Mennonite Road. Crews checked the residence and shut off the power until PECO could remove the branches that were placing extreme stress on the service to the residence.

Fire Police were also dispatched to assist with traffic control at the intersections of Linfield Trappe Road /Township line Road and West 7th Ave / West Main Street in Trappe.

West 7th Ave in Trappe Borough is still closed between Borough Line Road and West Main Street due to a tree and wires down.

Please do not move barricades that are in place. They are there for your safety until the utility company arrives to control the present hazards.

If you or your family do not have power and have any outstanding needs such as a medically necessary device that requires electric please contact the fire department and we will work with Emergency Management on a potential interim solution.
