Engine 77 Assists at Rescue Box 84-77 in Limerick Twp.

Station 54, Engine 77 and Squad 51 were dispatched to the 1200 block of S. Township Line Road near the YMCA for an accident with three injuries and rescue.

Medic 324 had two units on scene requesting rescue for one driver still trapped.

E77 arrived and went to work with stabilazion, cribbing and lift jacks to secure a car that was part way up an embankment with a female trapped. E54 arrived and both E54 and E77 went in service with their rescue tools to cut open the roof of the car to assist with removing the female victim with the added help of SD51.

Medic 324 transported victims to Pottstown Hospital and Reading Trauma Center.

The accident happened when one car crossed over into on coming traffic.
