E77 Assists at House Fire in Royersford Borough

Engine 77 was dispatched to 637 Walnut St in Royersford at 2119 hours for fire from the rear of a house.

Chief 98 arrived on scene and reported a working fire. E77 responded with a crew of six and arrived on scene just as crews from Station 98 were knocking down the fire.

E77 split crews and went into service as search and rescue in the basement (Bolger & Zepp) and on the 2nd floor and attic (Greenwood & Sisca).

This house was vacant, however it was reoprted that person(s) have been squatting in the hosue. All primary and secondary searches were negative.

Once the fire was under control, E77 crew assisted Station 51 repacking their 5" hose. After getting our air bottles refilled by R98 Station 77 was released by Chief 98.

The fire is inder investigation by FM68.
