Station 77 and SD34 dispatched to the intersection of W Main St and Third Ave (Route 113) at 1752 hours for an auto accident with injuries.

Units arrived on scene and find a 2 car crash with one person injured. When EMS arrives they request that the drivers door be opened wider to get better access to the driver/victim.

Crews from E77 use their Hydraulic tool to spread open the drivers door. SD34 had their rescue tools on stand by and assisted with fluid control. Once the driver was removed and taken to a local Trauma Center, SD34 returned and E77 remained on scene to assist Norm's Towing with clean up.

Fire Police from Stations 77 and 34 blocked three of the four lanes of traffic due to the accident scene.
