House Fire with Injuries in Upper Providence Twp.

Station 98 and E77 dispatched to a reported house on fire in the area of Cochise Lane and Wampenog Circle in the Royersford section of Upper Providence.

Several callers reported a fire in the rear of the house with fire under a deck. Police arrived on location to find there was confirmed smoke and a burn victim, EMS was requested. Another call reported another victim from the house at a neighbor’s with trouble breathing and another EMS unit was requested.

Fire crews were able to knock down the fire quickly and when E77 arrived they were requested to assist with the burn victim who was in critical condition. E77 crews split assignments with a FF Paramedic and FF EMT assisting the medical crew and the remainder of the FF crew assisting with overhaul operations.
Once the scene was under control, Chief 98 released E77 and the investigation is being handeled by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
