Station 99, E53 SD46, Chester L65 and Chester E68 were dispatched to a dwelling fire at 1303 Egypt rd in Upper Providence Twp at 21:34. Montgomery County 911 center received multiple calls for a house on fire and added Rescue 86 for the fast team and EMS.

CH99 arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire with heavy fire on the C side of the structure.

Engine 77 and SD34 were dispatched at 22:11 to assist 99 (Blackrock Fire Company) for manpower

Engine 77 responded in 6 minutes with a crew of 6. When they arrived, crews were split to go interior to find the fire on the 3rd floor, while the other crew operated on Tower 99 to extinguish the fire from the outside. The interior crews going to the 3rd floor were confronted by heavy fire and had to back out. Fire then self vented itself through the roof. Interior crews then went back into the fire when it was safe to establish a better view of the fire. Extensive overhaul was required on the 3rd floor to stop the fire from spreading. Fire was placed under control after 2 hours of hard working. Thankfully nobody was injured, and firefighter was able to save one cat but one cat was lost and we are very sorry for the family's loss.

E77 remained on scene for 4 hours until units were clear and returned home
