Busy Weekend for Station 77

Station 77 had a busy weekend first with Upper Providence Day on Saturday and then Sunday morning supervising a control burn. Station 77 also responded to three fire calls.

Friday 9/16/16 Engine 77 and Squad 34 responded to a pedestrian stuck at the intersection of W7th Ave and Borough Line Rd at 8:07am. DC77 arrived to find two vehicles involved but no pedestrian was stuck by a car. Fire crews assisted ems with patient care and clean up from the accident

Saturday 9/17/16 while at Upper Providence Community Day, Squad 99 and Ladder 77 responded to a Carbon Monoxide detector in the development off Minuteman Drive in Upper Providence Twp.at 2:50pm. Crews arrived and investigated the detector going off and found no Carbon Monoxide in the residence but found out it was a bad detector. Ladder 77 and Tac 77 then returned to UPT Community Day and stood by while the fireworks show took place and they extinguished several spot fires.

Sunday 9/18/16 Engine 77 and Squad 34 responded to an accident with injuries on 3rd Ave in Trappe Borough. at 9:32am Crews arrived to find 2 vehicles involved and one person injured. Engine 77 established stabilization, patient care, and clean up while waiting for the tow truck. Fire police shut down the road for an hour until units were clear.
