By Deputy Fire Chief Robert Greenwood
January 8, 2019

Trappe Fire Co. volunteers responded to 361 calls for emergency service in 2018. This was a new record for most calls ever in our station, and was 31 more calls then last year.

Of the 361 calls, 76 of them were in Trappe Borough and 98 were in the Trappe section of Upper Providence Twp. We also assisted other Upper Providence Twp. companies 45 times.

The rest of the calls were mutual aid given to other fire departments. The top three fire departments assisted were; Collegeville Borough with 88 calls, Limerick Twp. with 16 calls, and Perkiomen Twp./Royersford Boro tied with 10 calls.

We also remind local residents that our annual Fund Drive is still in progress and your donations are needed to help us respond to these calls.

Anyone interested in joining the Fire Company is encouraged to fill out an application on line. Volunteers are ALWAYS needed !
