On Saturday the Trappe Phoenixville EMS Division (Medic 85) was dispatched along with Phoenixville FD Station 65 for a reported auto accident at the intersection of Nutt Rd (Rt 23) and Starr St in Phoenixville. Phoenixville Chief 65 arrived on scene and determined that there was one car overturned, with a person trapped inside the vehicle. The PFD secured thew car to allow Trappe EMS Crews to access, treat and ultimately extract the patient successfully. The patient was stabilized by the EMS Crew and then transported by Trappe Medic 85 to a local Trauma Center for further treatment. The cause of the accident is being investigated by Phoenixville PD.
