At 6:57 p.m. EDT on Thursday, July 2, 2020 Trappe Fire Company was dispatched along with Collegeville Fire Company to a brush fire on Palmetto Drive in Upper Providence Township. Upon arrival crews found a large pile of mulch on fire in the parking lot.

Collegeville Fire Company’s Engine began to extinguish the fire with Engine 77 and Tac 77 providing additional manpower and equipment. The fire was extinguished and all units were made available.
