House Fire in Limerick Township

Limerick Fire Department along with Perkiomen Fire Department were dispatched to a dwelling fire near the intersection of Wensel Circle and Sunset Road, Limerick Township around 0923 hours.

Limerick Township police arrived on scene to heavy fire showing with all occupants out of the home, except pets.

Chief 51 arrived and establish command requesting 3 more engines. (E52, E77, E93)

Engine 51 arrived and starting extinguishing the fire making a quick knock while Ladder 51’s crew went to the roof for ventilation.

Engine 77 responded and arrived as the third engine company. Engine 77 established a secondary water supply and was assigned to the second floor with Engine 66’s crew.

Medic 324-1 Medic 324-12 were dispatched and established a rehab for firefighters doing vital signs and hydrating firefighters.

No injuries were reported and the fire is being investigated by the Limerick Township Fire Marshal.
