Late Saturday night, Engine 77 was dispatched at 8:57 PM to assist Upper Frederick Fire Company along with 10 other mutual aid companies on a reported dwelling fire with entrapment in the 1700 block of Snyder Road in Upper Frederick Township.

Trappe Fire Company's Engine 77 was given the responsibility to set up a drafting operation at the icy boat launch. A drafting operation is taking water from a non-hydrant water source such as a lake, river, pool, etc…and supplying water to a tanker or location a distance away for the purposes of fire suppression.

Engine 77s team battled below freezing temperatures and ice conditions as they made access to and set up a draft operation at the boat launch to supply water to tankers that were operating at the scene of the fire.
