March 21, 2022 – Trappe, PA – Trappe Fire Company is mourning the loss of our Fire Chief Branden
Sisca. Branden has been serving Trappe Borough and surrounding communities for over a decade beginning
in 2009 as a Junior Firefighter. Earlier today, Branden paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving the
residents of Pennsylvania in his capacity as a Pennsylvania State Trooper. Branden along with his partner
Pennsylvania State Trooper Martin Mack, were struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle on I-95 in
Philadelphia while trying to assist a citizen on the highway.

Branden served as Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, Deputy Chief and most recently Fire Chief. He also
served in an administrative role as Fire Company Treasurer.

Chief Sisca leaves behind a wife, yet to be born child, and his parents.

The Trappe Fire Company would also like to express its deepest condolences to the family of State Police
Trooper Martin Mack as well as to the loved ones of the civilian who they were trying to help on the
highway.

As the Trappe Fire Company and emergency services community take time to process this tragedy, we are
respectfully requesting that the family and fire company be given time to grieve.

Questions may be directed to Pennsylvania State Police or Trappe Fire Company at: info@trappefire.org.
