E77 Responds to two Confirmed Fires

Busy night for Trappe Fire Company No. 1

Yesterday station 77 responded to two working fires.

Around 2017 hours Engine 77 was dispatched to a second alarm assignment to assist Limerick Fire Department of a building fire at 1155 Main Street. Engine 77 established a water supply to the B side of the building and crews assisted with fire suppression, ventilation, and overhaul.

Engine 77 and Traffic 77 remained on scene until 0045 hours. Special thanks to Pottstown Fire Department & Emergency Management with assisting us on repacking the supply line!

At 0157 hours a Dwelling box was struck near the 500 block of Tawnaberry Drive in Upper Providence Township bringing Perkiomen Township Fire Company Collegeville Fire Company Phoenixville Fire DepartmentRoyersford Fire Department and Limerick Fire Company.

Captain 77 arrived on scene to fire on the A/B corner. Engine 51 arrived on scene with fire suppression while Ladder 98 established 1st due truck. The assignment was upgraded to a working fire brining Skippack Fire Company as the RIT.

The fire was placed under control with no extension into the residence.

All units were clear at 0338 hours.
