Trappe Fire Co. volunteers responded to 420 calls for emergency service in 2022. This was a new record for most calls ever in our station, and was 55 more calls then last year.

Of the 420 calls, 96 of them were in Trappe Borough and 101 were in the Trappe section of Upper Providence Twp. We also assisted other Upper Providence Twp. companies 75 times.

The rest of the calls were mutual aid given to other fire departments. The top three fire departments we assisted were; Collegeville Borough with 80 calls, Perkiomen Twp. with 22 calls and Limerick Twp. with 16 calls.

Volunteer members spent 1560 manhours responding to emergency incidents and another 1411 manhours training and updating their skills. Department members also spent 2208 manhours involved in department events, such as duty crews staffing the station, conducting department administrative tasks, and community outreach among other things.

We also remind local residents that our annual Fund Drive is still in progress and your donations are needed to help us respond to these calls.

Anyone interested in joining the Fire Company is encouraged to fill out an application on line. Volunteers are ALWAYS needed !
