Trappe Fire Co Responds to 3 Alarm Fire in Royersford Borough

Station 98, Chester Engine 63, Squad 51, and Engine 68 were dispatched to a dwelling fire near the intersection of 2nd Ave and Washington Street, Royersford Borough at 1743 hours.

Royersford Police was on scene and reported the fire and found smoke and fire in the middle of a 6 unit row home.

Chief 98 arrived on scene and assumed command, requesting a 2nd alarm at 1756 hours.

Engine 68-2 was dispatched on the second alarm and responded with a crew of 6.

Ladder 68-2 also responded with a crew of 3. Both crews were directed to assist with fire suppression, ventilation, ground ladders, and extra manpower on the C side of the building.

A 3rd alarm was requested as the fire continued to spread due to heavy winds.

Units remained on scene until 2300 hours. No injuries were reported on scene .
