Snow Storm Keeps Station 77 Busy with 6 calls in Trappe Borough

During a quick moving Saturday morning snow storm, Station 77 was dispatched to a vehicle accident with injuries near the intersection of East 3rd Ave and West Main Street at 1011 hours.

Emergency Personal arrived on scene to one vehicle into a pole blocking the roadway.

While responding and arriving on scene, another accident was reported at the intersection of East 3rd Ave and College Ave for one vehicle into a fence.

Crew members from Engine 77 and Squad 68 for both accidents assisted with traffic control, establishing a safe area, debris clean up, and checking for injuries.

East 3rd Ave was closed for over 12 hours due to the utility pole damage and power lines down while PECO replaced the broken pole.


At 1320 hours, TAC 77 was dispatched to assist EMS with a medical call.

At 1657 hours, Ladder 77 and Squad 68 were dispatched to a CO alarm at the 300 block of Apian Way.

At 1730 hours, 77 Fire Police were requested to assist with traffic control at East 3rd Ave and West Main Street. Our fire police remained on scene for over 4 hours.

At 2154 hours, Station 77 and Squad 68 were dispatched to an unknown type fire near the 100 block of West Main Street. The unknown type fire was found to be smoke across Main Street from a wood burning stove and no emergency was found.
