Snow & Icy Roads Make for a Busy Morning

The early morning snow & ice on local roadways created several emergency calls for Trappe Fire & EMS units.

Trappe Fire Co and Fire Police responded to two separate calls for accidents and traffic control.

Trappe EMS responded to six total calls within a 3-4 hour span.
One person was flown from an auto accident on Route 29 in Perkiomen Twp. with serious injuries.
Other accidents on Route 422 expressway were less serious in nature.

We would like to remind all drivers: Please remember to drive slowly when snow, ice, and wet roadways are present.
