| Trappe Fire Co. volunteers responded to 266 calls for emergency service in 2008. This was up 67 calls from last year, and is the MOST fire calls we have ever had ! Of the 266 calls, 78 of them were in Trappe Borough and 81 were in the Trappe section of Upper Providence Twp. The rest of the calls were mutual aid given to other fire departments. The top three fire departments assisted were; Limerick Twp. with 30 calls, Perkiomen Twp. with 17 calls and Collegeville Borough with 25 calls. The volunteer members of Trappe Fire Co. wish everyone a safe and healthy "Happy New Year" in 2009. We also remind local residents that our annual Fund Drive is still in progress and your donations are needed to help us respond to these calls. Anyone interested in joining the Fire Company is encouraged to fill out an application on line. |
