| Trappe Fire Company No.1 is holding our first open house on Wednesday, May 18th at the Fire House from 2pm until 8pm.
The open house is a commemoration of our emergency medical services division during National EMS Week that begins on Monday, May 16th and continues through Saturday May 21.
The celebration will include a "Safety House" first aid illustration for children and adults, an introduction to CPR, and a presentation by members of our county wide STRIKE Team who have been deployed twice to the hurricane ravaged state of Louisiana. We will also have a presentation on our community outreach program "CHIP-In" (Citizen Help Initiative Program) that targets seniors at risk, patients that require a helping hand with medication organization and home safety assessments for physical challenges due to illness or age.
Snacks will be provided as well as the opportunity to meet our EMS staff.
