| Stations 77 and Medic 324 were dispatched to 250 East 3rd Ave for a one car accident with injuries at about 0142 hours. PSP was on location and requested a helicopter on stand by since the driver was unconscious and still in the car.
EMS and Fire units arrived to find that a car traveling northbound on Route 113 had crossed over and crashed into a sign post and farmers fence. The sign post had ripped into the passenger compartment area, but missed the driver.
After removing the driver from the car, EMS stood down the helicopter and transported the driver to the Paoli Trauma Center with PS following for their investigation.
Fire Police closed Route 113 in both directions while Norm's Towing removed the car. |
