| Ladder 77 responded on the first alarm assignment for a building fire at Graterford Prison (SCIG) at 0355 hours. The 911 call reported the fire alarm going off, and a smoke condition in the building.
Units arrived to find an electrical fire in the third floor of the building. All prisoners had been evacuated by the guards on duty.
Ladder 77 arrived and went into service with the main ladder to the roof from outside the barb wired fence. Ladder 77 crew checked the roof with our TIC for any extension and found none. Once the power was turned off by SCIG officials, the fire was placed under control. Smoke was removed from the building and Ladder 77 returned.
Thanks to Assistant 86 for the nice placement. |
