| The 2007 Trappe Community days was held Sept 15 under beautiful skies at Waterworks Park.
We saw over 300 happy kids and their families and gave each a shiny new Trappe Fire Hat and fire safety kits. Our neighbors enjoyed the chance to explore Ladder and Engine 77, talk to real firefighters and try on fireman's gear.
Highlight of the day was the dunk tank; where members of the Community had the chance to send one of Trappe Bravest into the water, all for charity.
Special thanks to Battalion Chief John Bolger, Captain Tom Mcpolye and Jr. Firefighter Brendon Long for taking the hot (er ah cold) seat in the dunk tank.
