| Volunteers from the Trappe Fire Company have completed their annual Fire Prevention Week visits to our local schools and pre schools.
Trappe Fire Company volunteers made ten (10) school visits talking with an estimated 519 children from pre school age to second graders. They spent 34.75 man-hours making sure the message of fire prevention and fire safety was delivered to the children of the Trappe Community.
Trappe Fire Company also spent another 24 man-hours making visits to our neighboring fire station in Oaks & Limerick during their open houses.
We want to thanks the schools, teachers and the children for allowing us to visit with them this past week and deliver our fire prevention message.
Please remember to be fire safe all year long, not just during fire prevention week. |
