Station 77 fire police were dispatched to assist Pennsylvania State Police on an accident with no injuries involving a pole at the intersection of East 7th ave and Michelle Lane, Trappe Borough at 0945 hours.

Lieutenant 77 arrived on scene to a pole sparking and causing a hazard in the roadway. Lieutenant 77 had Engine 77 and Engine 66 dispatch to assist.

Engine 77 and Engine 66 responded and arrived to assist in proving a safe area around the pole. Fire police had East 7th ave closed from Betcher Road and College Ave.

PECO arrived on scene and determined the pole needed to be removed and replaced.

East 7th ave will be closed for approximately 4-6 hours.

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the crash.
