Station 53 and Engine 34 were dispatched to building fire at Franco’s Pizza located at 3815 Ridge Pike, Lower Providence Township at 0924 hours.

Battalion 53 arrived on scene and had smoke inside the store with fire on the roof. Battalion 53 established Ridge Pike Command and requested the working fire procedure.

Ladder 77, Engine 66, Engine 99-1, Engine 93 and Rescue 86 as the RIT were dispatched to assist.

Ladder 77 responded and established the C/D corner of the building. Crews checked for extensions into the stores. The fire was contained to the roof and no extension was found inside any stores.

Ladder 77 places several fans in service to remove smoke from Franco’s Pizza and EmmaMac Beauty Store.

Crews remained on scene until 1026 hours. The fire is being investigated by Lower Providence Fire Marshal.
