| Station 34, Engine 77, and Medic 324-1 were dispatched to the intersection of East Main Street and East Tenth Avenue in Collegeville Borough for a vehicle rescue.
DC77 arrived on scene, confirmed the accident to be at Main Street and E. Ninth Avenue and found a female un-injured but trapped inside the vehicle. DC77 established Main Street command and requested the drivers door to be removed.
Engine 77 arrived and established stabilization and removed the drivers side door.
Squad 34 assisted with securing the vehicle and establishing fire suppression.
The female was removed from the vehicle and refused medical treatment.
Fire Police from 77 and 34 assisted with Closing East Main Street down.
The vehicle accident is being investigated by Collegeville Police.
While Engine 77 was clearing the vehicle rescue, multiple gas leaks were reported in Upper Providence Township due to a large gas leak in Spring City Borough.
Engine 77 responded with Engine 93 and the gas leak in Spring City was contained at 1800 hours. |
