Perkiomen Fire Department was dispatched to a fire alarm at the 100 block of Lincoln Road in Perkiomen Township around 1750 hours.
Station 66 was scheduled as the Perkiomen Valley Duty Crew and responded quickly. While Engine 66 went responding, the homeowner called back reporting the dryer was on fire.
The assignment was upgraded to a dwelling bringing Ladder 77, Engine 34, Squad 51.
Ladder 77 went responding and assisted with checking for extension.
