Trappe Fire Company's Ladder 77 was dispatched at 11:37 am today to the 1000 Block of Meadowview Lane to assist UPT Fire & Emergency Services in response to a report of a contractor hitting a gas line at The Meadows Condo Community. As the natural gas and odor vented into the air, firefighters and UPT police went door-to-door to check the buildings and alert residents to the situation. PECO and the management company responded to the scene. Also providing mutual aid were Collegeville Fire Company and Phoenixville Fire Department.
