Stations 34, 77 and Tower 53 were dispatched to New Hall on the campus of the Ursinus College at 2358 hours for power outages and smoke in the building. While responding 34 Command was advised of several other problems on other college buildings.
Ladder 77, Engine 34 and Tower 53 crews checked all four floors of New Hall and found a strong odor on the 2nd floor. The building was searched and found all clear.
The odor was traced to a motor on the 2nd floor A/C unit.
Engine 77 crews were sent to Reimert Hall on the college campus for an investigation of a water flow alarm. All checked ok at that location.
