Around 0133 hours, Trappe Fire Company was dispatched to assist Limerick Fire Department on a house fire in the 300 block of Mulberry Drive, Limerick Township.

Captain 51-1 quickly arrived on scene with a garage on fire spreading to the house and possible entrapment.

Ladder 77 with a crew of 5 arrived on scene as second due truck and was quickly placed in service with conducting an interior search.

Numerous fire company’s from UPT Fire & Emergency Services Royersford Fire Department Perkiomen Township Fire Company Sanatoga Fire Company began with an interior fire attack but had to evacuated the building due to unsafe conditions.

Additional units from Skippack Fire Company and Lower Providence Fire Department for RIT were dispatched.

The fire was places under control at 0247 hours.

All occupant’s and dogs were able to escape. Our thoughts and prayers go out towards the family affected by the fire.

Ladder 77 remained on scene until 0345 hours.
