| Around 1800 hours, Trappe Fire Company was dispatched to assist Collegeville Fire Company on a Building Fire on East 3rd Ave in Collegeville Borough. Pipeline 66 Perkiomen Township Fire Company and Tower 53 Lower Providence Fire Department were also dispatched.
Deputy 34 and Collegeville police arrived on scene with smoke coming from an abandoned 3 story building.
The assignment was upgraded to a working fire bringing UPT Fire & Emergency Services Limerick Fire Department Skippack Fire Company and medic 322 Lower Providence Community Center - Ambulance
Ladder 77 responded with a crew of 3 and arrived on scene as first due truck. Ladder 77 was directed to the C side of the building and went to work setting up the main ladder, forceable entry, ventilation, search, and ground ladders.
The fire was placed under control at 1822 hours with some overhaul and ventilation still needed to be completed.
This was the 4th emergency incident our members of Trappe Fire Company responded to yesterday.
