| Volunteers from the Trappe Fire Company have completed their annual Fire Prevention Week visits to our local school and pre schools.
Trappe Fire Company volunteers made nine (9) school visits talking with an estimated 500 children from pre school age to second graders. They spent 37.25 man-hours making sure the message of fire prevention and fire safety was delivered to the children of the Trappe Community.
Trappe Fire Company also spent another 19 man-hours making visits to our neighboring fire stations in Oaks & Limerick during their open houses.
We want to thanks the schools, teachers and the children for allowing us to visit with them this past week and deliver our fire prevention message. Attached are some pictures from our visit at PV South Elementary School.
Please remember to be fire safe all year long, not just during fire prevention week. |
