Station 77 and Engine 66 were dispatched at 10:03 for a gas leak outside in the area on Main Street and Greenwood Ave. DC 66 arrived and found the correct location at 1611 Main Street. Contractors were working on the house outside and stuck a natural gas line. E77 responded with a crew of six and arrived at 10:12. E77 stood by the hydrant while E66 stood by and blocked oncoming traffic. Crews from E77 and E66 forced entry on the house to make sure no occupants were inside during the gas leak. Crews also did natural ventilation on two houses. E93 also responded after clearing another call in UPT.

PECO was called to the scene to shut off the gas. Main Street was closed until 10:55 when units were clear and available.
