E77 Assists Royersford Fire Company of Working Dwelling Fire

At 09:03 Station 98 and Chester 63 were dispatched to a dwelling fire on N. 5th Ave in Royersford Borough. Police arrived on scene and stated that there was a working fire with possible people trapped inside. AC98 arrived at 09:07 and confirmed a working fire with heavy fire showing from the second floor and that all occupants evacuated. The upgraded working fire assignment added R86 and Air 51. 98 Command requested 2 additional engines to the scene which brought E77 and Chester E62. Ladder 98 arrived with Chester L63 and started pulling multiple lines to knock down the fire. SD51 arrived and hit the 2nd hydrant to feed Chester L63. Crews made their way to the second floor to find 2 rooms with heavy fire. E77 arrived and assisted with overhaul providing additional manpower. 98 Command placed the fire under control at 09:46. Red cross was called to the scene and one person was transported to the hospital. All units were clear expect 98 and Chester 63 at 10:48. The fire is under investigation with the State Police Fire Marshal and Montgomery County Detectives. Trappe Fire Company would like to send thoughts and prayers to the family and individual that was taken to the hospital.
