At 7:08 p.m. EDT on Monday, March 9, 2020 Trappe Fire Company was dispatched West Ridge Pike at Township Line Road for a motor vehicle accident with potential entrapment and injuries. Trappe Fire Company Ambulance 324 and Limerick Fire Company were also dispatched and arrived to find a two vehicle accident with airbags deployed and the intersection blocked.

Members of Limerick Fire Company and Ambulance 324 completed the removal of passengers from the vehicles. Engine 77 and Tac 77 provided assistance with clearing the scene.

All units were made available and the roadway was clear by 8:00 p.m.
