At 16:32 EDT, Engine 77 and Engine 66 were dispatched to 750 College Avenue in Trappe Borough for a woods / field fire.

Deputy 77 arrived to find a vehicle in the field to the rear of the property on its roof with the rear end on fire. There was no extension to the field.

The homeowner’s son had utilized a fire extinguisher on the vehicle and then the homeowner flipped the vehicle over with a small bull dozer, subsequently dropping a load of dirt on top attempting to extinguish the fire.

77 / 66 units made quick work of extinguishing the remainder of the fire before clearing the scene.
